BetPal Quickstart Guide

Betpal is a powerful trading tool for our customers to interfere with Sportradars Live Odds matches. It allows adjusting the odds Sportradar sends via the live odds feed, trading matches without Sportradars odds, just using the Live (Scout) Data points, or creating and trading your own matches independently from our odds and data products.

How to start and customize the application

The below steps should help you start and customize the application to train on and operate with this tool.

1. Log in to betradar.com with your login credentials(username and password)

2. Navigate to "Live" and then click "Betpal" (or Betpal Training Center)“ in the main menu.

3. Import users into the Betpal user list using the green "+" button on the top right corner of the screen.

4. Check that imported users have the user rights (access) to book Live Odds matches

5. Import matches from Sportradars Live Odds match pool.

To do so, navigate to "Imported events" from the left side menu and click the green download button (on the top right corner of the screen).

6. Click on "Run Betpal Trading Platform“ in the left side menu and the Java Webstart file will be downloaded, just open it.

7. Run the Webstart file. Please note that you will need an up to date Java SRE to do so.

8. Run the actual Betpal Trading Platform Java application

9. Log in with your betradar.com credentials of the imported user.

10. The Betpal Event Board opens and will list the matches you have imported in step 5.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. The java application does not launch, what can I do?

A: Check your Java version and update to latest

2. The Java application launched, but I cannot log in?

A: Please send an email to [email protected] including your username, your account ID (BMID) and the screenshot with the error message. Support will activate your user for Betpal

3. I cannot see any users in the “User Management” list

A: Not all Ctrl users are automatically Betpal users. If you do not see any user there, please contact [email protected] including the screenshot and request that your user needs Betpal access

4. Can I just use Betpal adjusting odds in the feed right when the product has beenactivated?

A: No, your tech team needs to make sure this Unified Odds Feed producer nr. 4 is integrated, so your system understands the feed messages coming through to your system. Please contact accountactivation-[email protected] who will arrange the integration support for you if needed.

5. Can we practice a bit with Betpal before we operate live?

A. Yes, the product package “Betpal Training Center” can be requested by your Sales with us. It allows practicing on the interface and operates also with the Unified Odds Feed Integration Environment.
