Void Reasons

The following table lists all available void reasons with IDs for a market. These reasons will appear in individual markets within bet_settlement and bet_cancel messages/events. The table also provides descriptions and potential scenarios to illustrate when each reason applies

0	OTHER	1-Live Odds 3-Pre-match Odds	All cases where all other reasons do not apply. Occasionally used to void a market due to technical issues or other unforeseen reasons.	A typical scenario would be a server outage or other technical issues which resulted in incorrect odds.
3	RESULT_UNVERIFIABLE	1-Live Odds	Used to void a market if the outcome cannot be verified officially. It should indicate that customers can most likely settle these markets on their end, based on information of sources which are not available for Sportradar Resulting Teams.	If the connection to the venue is lost and Sportradar is unable to recreate the required sequence of points afterwards. Example 1 “Race to X market” Basketball pints sequence missing Example 2: Tennis points sequence missing {!setnr} set - {!pointnr} point {!setnr} set - race to {pointnr} points Example 3 Duckworth/Lewis in Cricket-Here the number of overs is getting reduced in case of bad weather.
4	FORMAT_CHANGE	1-Live Odds 3-Pre-match Odds	Used to void a market if odds were offered based on an incorrectly set up match format. Normally this void reason is not used for format changes occurring during the match, but when the original format was incorrectly setup. Two exceptions of this above scenarios: Mercy Rule Event - this reason is used when the event is called earlier and less innings are played than originally planned. Early called matches - When referees call the match early as completed, due to rain or other reasons, a winner is declared and all markets are settled with the entered result, but in addition the Unified Odds Feed sends a bet cancel message with reason 4 for all total markets that are above the current score.	wrong best of X format overtime offered but match goes straight to penalties cup markets offered although no overtime or penalties incorrect period length Duckworth/Lewis in Cricket Market examples: Correct score (variant=sr:correct_score:bestof:5): This market cannot be settled if the match is played in the best of 7 format. Total points market on incorrect best of x format: Total points could be settled, but the odds would be incorrect and therefore we void the market The reason is also used when Mercy Rule applies in Baseball leading to reduced innings.
5	CANCELLED_EVENT	1-Live Odds 3-Pre-match Odds	Used to void a market if a match will not be played at all as it was either officially cancelled or the fixture was incorrectly displayed.	official fixture changes swapped teams incorrect teams changes in draws player replaced
7	MATCH_ENDED_IN_WALKOVER	1-Live Odds 3-Pre-match Odds	Used to void all undecided markets in the event of a walkover. A walkover is where a player withdraws from a match before it begins.	Player A withdraws before match start due to injury, personal reasons etc.
8	DEAD_HEAT	3-Pre-match Odds	Used if the dead heat rule is applied for a market. Only used for Outright Markets.	Two drivers finish 2nd place in a skiing race.
9	RETIRED_OR_DEFAULTED	1-Live Odds 3-Pre-match Odds	Used to void an undecided market in the event of a retirement after match has started. Multiple Sports	Note: In Tennis Retirement, Markets are voided based on the config setting Feed Options ”Settlement Rules for Tennis Retirement”
10	EVENT_ABANDONED	1-Live Odds 3-Pre-match Odds	Used to void an undecided market if a match is abandoned and not continued within the time frame defined in our terms and conditions (Sports Betting Rules).	Match has already started / some mins played, and the match is abandoned / not continued. Common in matches with a serious injury, crowd trouble etc. For pre-match voiding of a market will depend on the Pre-match Feed Options ”Settlement Rule for Abandoned Events”
11	EVENT_POSTPONED	1-Live Odds 3-Pre-match Odds	Used to void a market if a match is not started but gets postponed for Live Oddsnger than defined in our terms and conditions (Sports Betting Rules).	In case the match has not started, all undecided markets will be voided. Can happen due to bad weather conditions, team unable to reach venue, crowd trouble etc.
12	INCORRECT_ODDS	1-Live Odds	Used to void a market for a specific time frame if the odds were obviously incorrectly displayed, although correct match statistics were provided.	Example: Reversed odds favorite/underdog
13	INCORRECT_STATISTICS	1-Live Odds	Used to void a market for a specific time frame if odds were offered based on incorrect match statistics or Live Data event errors.	incorrect score incorrect match time delayed goals incorrect card stats incorrect corner stats incorrect first server official score review
14	NO_RESULT_ASSIGNABLE	1-Live Odds 3-Pre-match Odds	Used to void a market if the market remains undecided or if the result is outside of the available outcome range.	If the configuration setting "Include tennis markets for games which might not be played" is activated, this void reason is used for games which are eventually not played. Examples of affected markets: {!setnr} set game {gamenr} – winner {!setnr} set game {gamenr} - exact points If a "Race to X" market is undecided as X points were not reached by any team. Examples of affected markets: Race to {pointnr} points (incl. overtime) {!quarternr} quarter - race to {pointnr} points If a "Xth point" market is undecided as the match was finished before any of the teams scored the Xth point. Examples of affected markets: {!pointnr} point (incl. overtime) {!goalnr} goal (incl. overtime) If in soccer the final score is not reflected within the outcomes of a correct score market which does not provide the outcome "other". Examples of affected markets: Correct score [{score}] 1st half - correct score [{score}]
15	CLIENT_SIDE_ SETTLEMENT_NEEDED	5PC 7NB	Used for very special markets where Betradar cannot offer all outcomes, but basic calculations can be used on the client side to compute the result.
16	"STARTING_PITCHER_CHANGED	3 PRE-MATCH ODDS	Used to void a market in an MLB Match when the Starting pitcher has changed. Applies only to Major League Baseball.	Based on the settings in the Portal Configuration system “Pre-match Feed Options” applied for “Include pitcher change updates for voiding (MLB only) “set to “YES” When a starting pitcher changes, a bet cancel message is sent with void reason 16. With e.g. “Team A before the match starts changes from Starting Pitcher X to Pitcher Z.”
