# Ctrl Overview

This manual is a guide to Betradar’s betting bookmaker platform, Ctrl (Control). It covers the system's main features, with a focus on daily tasks and the configurations a user needs to get the most value from the system.

Ctrl will eventually fully replace [betradar.com](http://betradar.com/), but users should note that there is a transition period during which both platforms will be available.

## Overview

The system has several main sections that allow the user to manage their betting offer in detail. Some are particularly useful for pre-match, such as Monitoring, Alerts, Archive, Settlements, and Statistics, whereas others are mainly relevant for live betting, such as the Live Booking Calendar and Live Data Client. The Config section will be used for both.

When a user logs in to ctrl.betradar.com for the first time, they will be automatically taken to the Portal overview, where they will see options such as Operational, Support Portal, News (with a dropdown of news), Help (with a dropdown), Configuration, and their portal username (with a dropdown).

Here’s a quick overview of the Portal features:

**Operational:** This space includes updates on upcoming maintenance and downtime-related notifications. From here, you can also access our Status Page for CTRL and Unified Feed services. On this page, you will find live information and real-time updates of our services, along with any scheduled maintenance. You can subscribe to this page by contacting our Support team via chat or email, to ensure no important updates on systems related to Ctrl and the Unified Odds Feed are missed.

**Documentation Portal:** This dedicated space provides comprehensive documentation and integration guides to support a smooth onboarding experience and accelerate your development workflow.

**Support Portal:** This option on the Portal page lets you create and monitor tickets. You will also find relevant documentation within this space.

**News:** Within this space, you will find all relevant news and updates about our Betting Products. By clicking on a specific News message, you will be forwarded to our Blog. Here you can read the full article about the update and access some pertinent details and links related to the news.

**Help:** This option allows you to check the Unified Feed Status Page, access our Blog, and our Feature Updates page. Here you can also find the CTRL User Manual, which includes the most complete description of the CTRL platform.

**Status page:** This is available from the Help tab and the right side of the screen; it provides real-time updates and details on any scheduled maintenance. If you encounter issues, this should be your first stop before contacting our support team.

{% hint style="info" %}
This is the main screen where Ctrl is used day to day. There are 2 views to Monitor matches: first, the monitoring overview provides a high-level view of all current events and their ‘headline’ details, including main markets and a quick comparison against nominated main competitors.

By clicking on an individual event, you can explore its Match Up view. This provides full details of the event and its markets, along with a full comparison with a nominated wider market. From here, the user can also adjust their own odds whenever and wherever they see fit.

Any event or market can be suspended quickly, and market keys can be modified instantly. Besides, it is also possible to **Monitor** outrights from its dedicated section.

The **Alerts** section provides a centralized location where all events with active alerts can be reviewed and addressed, minimizing the bookmaker’s potential exposure. A new event ‘alert score’ has been developed to enable the bookmaker to prioritize and categorize multiple events across different sports with active alerts.

The **Archive** provides a historical database of all past events and their markets, including specific information on market status and odds changes. Thus, it is possible to quickly browse changes made to a previous event, the source of the change, and the user who made it. Additionally, the market settlement information for the markets that have been offered can be found.

The **Settlements** section of Ctrl combines both options to settle the markets (either manually or automatically) and the archive of historical odds. This allows the user to either settle the markets manually by themselves, not depending on when Betradar settlements are sent, and also to modify, void, or cancel settlements if needed.

In the **Config**, the user can set up Ctrl with a level of specificity far greater than any prior system has afforded. The settings for the pre-match (including Outrights) and live betting offer can be defined, which will determine which sports and tournaments should be activated, which betting markets will be offered for each of those tournaments, and what margins (oddskeys) will be applied to the odds within each market, among other things.

Dynamic odds key templates can be configured to be used at as granular a level as match-specific, and specific bookmakers can be selected and assigned a weighting to count towards market averages and wider comparisons across all of Ctrl.

By clicking Statistics, the user accesses Betradar’s Statistics Centre, which provides information on all the sports covered.

There are some other very useful sections, such as the Help section and others related to the in-play offer management, such as the Live Data Client and the Live Booking Calendar.

The Help section contains a series of tutorial videos that should help to learn more about Ctrl, its features and how to use and set them up. These should help to find more information about specific sections of the Ctrl interface.

It also contains a direct link to download the latest version of this manual that you are reading now as well as a link to the Inside Ctrl blog ([www.insidectrl.com](http://www.insidectrl.com)), where the latest news about Ctrl is published. The customer can equally find information on the Ctrl development roadmap in the blog, meaning that latest features and improvements will be mapped out with an expected date of release.

The Status of the Unified Odds Feed can also be accessed from the Help section( Unified Feed Status). From here, the user can check real-time updates on the status of the feed as well as any scheduled maintenance. If the user is experiencing any problems, this would be the first place to consult rather than going through our support channels.

We highly recommend subscribing to this page to ensure no important system updates related to Ctrl and the Unified Odds Feed are missed.

The Live Data Client is a tool that allows users to find real-time data on live events covered by our scouts and track what is happening during those events. This can be done either while the event is taking place or after it has happened, to check any data that might be of interest.

The Live Booking Calendar allows the user to view which Live Events Betradar offers each day and book them to receive the relevant data.

Additionally, a ‘Betradar Legacy Button’ can be found, where all sections from the old betradar.com interface can be accessed. An SSO (Single Sign On) concept is used, so the user will just be redirected to any section of the old betradar.com interface that might be of interest.

This will become progressively less necessary, but it has been done to allow you to find all relevant information he might have used in the past in the other interface without losing any details.
