# User When you access the “Users” option under the “Configuration” section, a comprehensive list of all registered users will appear, including their details and assigned roles. From this interface, you can easily manage user status. To activate or deactivate a user, either select or clear the checkbox next to their name or click the “Enabled” button and confirm the change. An active user is visually represented by a green checkbox for quick identification. Users whose status is marked as Enabled and Complete are fully authorized to perform all actions permitted by their assigned roles within the system. To create a new user, click the “New User” button located at the top left corner of the screen. A pop-up form will appear, prompting you to enter the following details: * Username; * Role; * Email.

After those 3 fields have been filled in and saved, a random (temporary) password will be generated. Please hover over the box and note the password to forward it to the new user. Once this user logs in for the first time, a window will come up so the last few details can be entered (name and surname, rest not required) and type and confirm their new (permanent) password. It is important to note that only one single user can utilize one single user account at any one time. One bookmaker may create multiple different users (as above) who can log in simultaneously. However, if a second user logs concurrently on the same user account as the first, the first user’s session will no longer be active. In case a certain user does not remember the password in order to access Ctrl, these can be solved by clicking on the ‘forgot password?’ button on the [ctrl.betradar.com](https://ctrl.betradar.com) screen or, alternatively, it would be possible to establish a new password if another user who has either Head Trader or Technical role accesses the account, goes to Config > Users and selects the user profile that where the new password needs to be stablished. After entering it twice (for confirmation) and saving the changes, the user who forgot the password should now be able to access Ctrl with the new one that has just been set.
