# Overview

BetLink functions by providing both an embeddable front end application that leverages a realtime odds API alongside a bet placement framework that integrates directly with the operator's wallet.

From a technical point of view, the BetLink platform has been designed from the ground up as a market-leading, sport-agnostic, complete sports book solution. Our top priorities have been low latency, high availability, customer security and delivering a developer-friendly integration experience from the very beginning of the development lifecycle. The platform’s pricing service features an ultra low latency odds API and realtime live odds update pipeline, whilst the bet-placement and resulting framework leverages a custom, event-driven micro services architecture.

The integration process with the operator's wallet is detailed as follows.
