# Programmatic Video

## **General Information - Delivery of Advertising Videos**

Due to technical checks, the video ad and the click/landing URL should be delivered to the ad management team at least 2 working days prior to the start of the campaign.

If there is an agreed upon campaign plan, the advertising videos can delivered up to 1 day prior to the campaign start. In these cases, the ad management team will prepare everything accordingly.

## **Technical Requirements**

### **OLV (Online Video)**

* **File: MP4 (H.264) in 1920x1080 (16:9)**
* **Data rate recommendation of 5 000 to 10 000 kbps**
* **Volume recommendation of 23 dBFS**
* **File Length: Max. 20-30 sec.**
* **Recommended File Size: 30 MB**
* **Click/Landing URL**: The entire area of the video is linked, so the advertising video must be delivered without an integrated link. (Only possible for Online Video)
* **When using 3rd party tracking there may be tracking deviations!** Deviations up until 10% will not being investigated. Please note, that Google Analytics is not supported as an IAB certified tracking tool.

#### **File Delivery Options**

1. Physical video file based on the Sportradar technical requirements.
2. Redirect VAST (video hosted) from an adserving licensed technology.

#### **Video File Ratio**

Sportradar uses 16:9 ratio (=1920x1080) to get the video creatives, as this ratio covers all of the video inventory.

The size it self how it is displayed on the website, depends on the video player of the publisher, so there is some downsizing depending on the website content. This Sportradar does not change.

Sportradar does not request the exact video size, it is more the video ratio:

* 1:1 or 4:5 ratios are used in Instagram or Facebook for example, it will work more for social media (those sources are not in Real Time Bidding like Programmatic) .
* 16:9 is compatible for web and gaming in-app, so that ratio is compatible for programmatic advertising.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.sportradar.com/ads/creative-specification/programmatic-video.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
